Wintercon 2013 will be held on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of July 2013.
Venue: Fitzroy Pavilion, EPIC. Near the McDonalds.
If you would like to pop in after setup at 6:00pm Friday 12th July, there will be a$10.00 cover charge to use any tables for last minute practice games, or to play in the Games library.
The hall will close late.

Team Value of $1,200,000
Starting team must have at least 11 players, but you don’t have to spend all your starting money
Normal skills can be purchased for 20k at creation of the team and count towards your team value (no doubles or stat increases)
Each player starting with a skill also starts with 6 SPP
No Star Players can be purchased as part of the starting team (tho may be hired as incentive against teams of greater value)
Progression Style system with full inducement system
MVP is chosen by the coach at the end of the match (not rolled randomly)
In the event of a bad match where your team is decimated and you lose (both must occur), you have the option to reset to your starting roster
Swiss Style, 6 Game Round Robin, 3 games each on Saturday / Sunday followed by Trophies and Presentations

1. The format for the competition this year will consist of four, 1500pt games that will be played over the two days.
2. Rules: Australian WRG 1645–1854 http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/australianwrg
3. The rules are available via email from the organiser or may be downloaded from the Australian web page in the file section of the forum.
4. The competition format will be the same as canon 2013, contact organisers for a set of the competition format if in doubt.
5. No player will be able to start play until their list is vetted by an organiser.
6. All army LISTS must be submitted before you commence the competition and will be required to be vetted by the organiser. It is preferred that army lists are submitted to organisers at least one week before the event.
