Event Blurb: HUMPTY-DOO DEATH-DERBY!  CANCON 2018 MAXIMILIAN 1934 TOURNAMENT.

Maximillian is a vehicle combat game set in a dystopian 1930s. Players battle with heavily armed cars and bikes amid the roar of engines powered by alcohol and aviation fuel!

These vehicles can power-slide and corner their way around the table and/or terrain, by using a special cornering template. Driving skill, the size and handling of a vehicle, and vehicle’s speed influence success or failure in a turn or manoeuvre. Fate and fortune dice determine outcomes – in driving, in shooting and in vehicle combat. Rockets, flamethrowers, machine-guns and hand pistols are all weapons of choice amongst the thrill-seeking drivers of Maximillian.

With an excellent range of 1930’s era cars and attachments available via Eureka Miniatures and other manufacturers (including die-cast cars), players have options to deck out their cars to their own specifications. Modular car-bodies with interchangeable suspension, engines and exhaust systems – deck your car out to your own tastes.

Get your vehicle ready and we’ll see you out there on the roads, driver!

Tally-Ho!

This event is a one-day participation on Friday 29th January which in 2018 is the Australia Day Public Holiday. The size of the game board is 6’x4′ and all terrain will be set up before each game. There will be upto five players racing per table
