Such as DFC spaceships dropping troops into a city sectors giving a bonus to DZC armies; DZC armies taking underground bunkers affecting future Dropfleet tournaments at Cancon.
Dropfleet Commander, the Sci-fi Orbital Combat game from Hawk Wargames, is making a duet at CANCON in 2017 as a one-day tournament across Friday 27 January. Dropzone Commander, the 10mm Sci-fi battalion-sized game from Hawk Wargames, is returning to CANCON in 2017, with the second part of the Reconquest Campaign event across Sat-Sun 28-29 January. In 2015-2016, the Dropzone Commander event had a record number of players (10-12), but we are aiming even higher for 2017 to celebrate the release of Reconquest Book #2 and Dropfleet Commander.
The event being generously sponsored Hawk Wargames, Combat Company, F.A.T. Mats Australia and Jackal Laser Designs, so you can expect to see including for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Painting, Most kill Points, Most Destroyed Clusters/Buildings and Encouragement Award. The prizes are drawn from a prize pool so more sign-up players in the tournament, the larger that pool is.
Whether it is your first time playing in a DFC or DZC tournament or you are just looking to play something new, by signing up for Dropfleet Commander Tournament or Dropzone Commander Tournament or Both Tournaments you will be joining a friendly community of players, gaming on top-notch tables and seeing many incredible Navies and Armies. Players win the tournament by being respectful to other players and the Tournament Organiser, completing missions and having their army assembled and painted. Your ships/armies can be played unpainted but must be assembled. Players with highly painted models score more points than models that are unpainted scoring zero points; See Player’s Pack for Painting details.
